For outstanding academic records, a fellowship is offered from the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin

Magnetic Sensor Challenge (1st place) 

As a part of the MMM Intermag 2022, Zulfidin was part of the Magnetic Sensor Challenge. 

Description: "The teams will use their own creativity to develop a sensor circuit and perform measurements. The teams will create and submit a Tik-Tok video showcasing their solution by the end of the day on Thursday. The most creative and best-presented solutions will be announced on Friday at the Conference, receive an award, and be recognized on the Conference website."

Zulfidin took First place and received a monetary prize. Also, we were featured on the NVE Corporation and MMM Intermag websites, (Link). 



Visiting Research Scientist at NIST 

For the summer of 2021, I received a grant to join Thomas J. Silva's group - Nanoscale Spin Dynamics, (Link).

It is located in Boulder, Colorado (USA).


2021 Love's Entrepreneur's Cup 

The Love’s Cup, formerly the Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup, is a statewide collegiate business plan competition that simulates the real-world process of researching a market, writing a business plan, and making a presentation to potential investors.

2021 Love’s Entrepreneur’s Cup recap 🎉🎉🎉:

1. We made it to the finals (top 6 teams)(Top Finalist).

2. We won the “Positive Energy and Environmental Interview Award”, (Link).

3. Our Pitch was the winner in our category.

March 2021 (Top Finalist) - Zulfidin Khodzhaev is the CEO/CTO of Spintronics.


Riata Business Plan Competition 

The Riata Business Plan Competition is the premier business plan competition hosted by The School of Entrepreneurship and the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship. The competition is open to all Oklahoma State University students of any discipline with or without business experience. The goal of the competition is to promote entrepreneurship and small business development by focusing on student-created, managed, and owned ventures. Students are provided with expert feedback and the opportunity to win scholarship money to help fund their ventures.

Spring 2020 (Top Finalist) -  Zulfidin Khodzhaev is the CEO of Spintronics.


National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholar

Recipient of National Science Foundation (NSF) scholarship for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (CIE).

EMJMD - Erasmus Mundus

An EMJMD is a prestigious, integrated, international study program, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions.

EMJMDs award EU-funded scholarships to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds.
